First off, hello! I am new to this site, although I've browsed it before in the past. I hope I'm posting in the right section!
My 4 year old GSD had a prophylactic gastropexy done about a month ago to help prevent torsion when bloating. There was a slight complication with the surgery (diaphragm was nicked) so I've been watching my dogs breathing/recovery very closely.
The past week or so his stomach has been grumbling very frequently when he is resting. I had never noticed it before the surgery.
No vomiting, (although he is a finicky eater) he is eating normal, activity is normal, I don't know if it's something I should be concerned about.
I work at an animal hospital and mentioned it to the doctor that performed the surgery but she didn't seem too concerned with it.
Any thoughts?
