Default Puppy dies mystery. any advice?

A 2 day old puppy died of uncertain causes. Male pup had bruises on both lateral sides of penis. Puppy was swollen and penis appeared almost inverted. Is this a symptom of Canine Herpes virus? Please respond ASAP. What is the prognosis for the rest of the litter/ And what is my best course of action? Thanks Linda

Hi, There are no vet's here, just hobby GSD owners. Best course of action "call your vet".

Definitely call the vet. Good luck to you. Please keep us posted.

Is this the dam's first litter? She might have gotten carried away when cleaning him or pulled too much on the umbilical cord. Are the other puppies gaining weight? Are you right with them?

Are you supervising her? It is possible this pup was stepped on or sat down on. I would watch her carefully, some moms are better than others at maneuvering around small puppies. My girl took 48 hours to get the hang of things.

Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.
