i was waiting to see if it would go away but today is like the 5th day and he still limping, are german shepards known for that? because i didnt notice how he got injured. what should i do ? he doesnt cry when i grab it or shows signs of disconfort... any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you guys.

they're not known for limping but the reasons can be various. 5 days is long. if he's still limping today you need to go to the vet

Could be Panosteitis, a bone growth issue that resolves itself as they mature but you need to make sure that it is this and nothing else more serious, so take him to the vet for x rays to make sure.

I had the same problem.

My girl would have it in each leg.
But just what the Vet Said it went away and
never returned when she turned 2.

Sometimes she limp for over a week.
Pain pills the vet gave us did help her sleep
better.

but mine doesnt cry, sleeps good it plays good, i touch his paw and leg with pressure see if it bothers him and doesnt. so if its that bone they will grow out of it?

Yes, Its called Panosteitis. It will go away once they are full grown but they can have a few flare ups between now and then.

You don't know for sure unless it has been diagnosed by a vet. This is just the internet.

I never said I knew for sure about the OPs dog. I mentioned Pano. Ofcourse they would be better going to a vet.
