Hook and Roundworms

My 7 week old puppy was confirmed to have hook and roundworms. The vet said that she had been given the correct dewormer for them (3 days ago) and was given heartworm medication they said would prevent worms. The vet also said overall she's very healthy and active.

But after giving her the heartworm medication tuesday she began pooping out roundworms and pooping a lot more than she had before. Though after tuesday I haven't noticed anymore worms. And it hasn't really been solid poop and half the time it's diarrhea. I haven't noticed any problems besides that. Is this normal?

I am not an expert on deworming puppies, so hopefully one of the breeders will chime in. I know puppies need to be dewormed more than once. I believe the schedule is 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks. Do you know how many times your puppy had been given dewormer? You will see worms in the stool for a while. An upset tummy is understandable, especially with the HW preventative given so soon after the other dewormer.
