Worried

My 16 month old German Shepherd has been limping a lot lately. I first noticed it last week but he was fine after a few minutes so I presumed he just had a dead leg from sleeping on it funny. It seems to be his back legs, but not either one in particular. It was only yesterday that it started to become constant. I will take him to the vet first thing Monday morning. About 5 months ago he had 3 benign tumors removed from the top of his head. I was wondering if anybody thinks him limping could be connected to that in anyway and not just an injury to his legs?

This is a picture of him after his operation.

Is he too old for pano? My dogs never had it, but I think it's fairly common.
Does he hold his leg up to his chest? If so, that could be a torn acl.

It could be! thanks. No he doesn't hold it up to his chest, he just try's to keep weight of it. He also seemed a bit disoriented this morning, but that could be because he was asleep when i turned on the light.

I wonder where those Tumors were. Have you discussed this issues with the vet? It could be neurological.

they where just under the skin on the top of his head. I haven't yet as it wasn't until yesterday that I began to think that his lame legs might not be an injury. I have an appointment for first thing Monday morning.

I brought Axel to the vet this morning. He is going for x rays on Wednesday. All the vet could say without x rays are that his hips are very tight for his age. Fingers crossed that he is ok otherwise.
