Can ringworm stay in the environment?

A while back I adopted a kitten i found and he turned out to have ringworm, i took him to the vet and got it cleared up but my other cat ended up catching, i got that cleared up but Jinx caught it and then the cat again. I kept trying to keep the infected one away from the other, but my siblings would let them out together when I wasn't home, this time the vet gave me meds for all of them, but I read the other day that is can stay in the environment and is really hard to get rid of. Is this true? Do I need to scrub the entire house, and wash everything?

yes it does
it is extremely hard to get rid of
bleach and those blue disinfectant lights might help
but put both cats on meds at once or you will never get rid of it
it is extremely contagious especially to cats
you can get it and also give it to the dogs
