bumps on snout

Hello everyone, I am currently in search of a GSD puppy and while visiting a breeder, one of the sires had some small bumps on the nose as shown on the picture. The breeder said the dog got them while digging. I am asking for third-parties' opinions on this as I am worried it might be a disease that could have been passed on to the pups. Has any of you experienced such bumps/lumps Thank you.

Maybe it is acne? This link explains it Acne in Dogs | Canine Acne Information

Looks as if he has something on his eyebrows, as well.

Has he been checked for doggy acne? Or could it be something else? I would at least suggest maybe a vet visit just for peace of mind...

Zinc deficiency.

If the breeder is feeding garbage food (pedigree or iams etc.) then you will most certainly have future troubles. female from same breeder?

If so not a professional breeder...look for one who breeds RAW fed dogs.

Thank you all for the responses. Yes he has something on the eyebrows as well I noticed on the picture. Unfortunately I think all the dogs are fed the kibble stuff, which I will not once I get a puppy. In Mauritius where I am from, it is rare to find breeders, let alone "responsible'' ones. I however found a breeder who seems not to breed for the money as he has imported dogs from France, Italy and the Czech Republic, he focuses only on working lines. He has not yet told me the price of puppies as he has none for now :(
