I think my dog is skinny? Help

He's 9 months old and weights 29-30kg which is 66lbs
He used to be skinner but i worked so hard to make him gain more weight, then he became 30kg-66lbs, i was so happy and then he lost his appetite and lost 1 to 2 kilos! But now he's back on track, got a a huge apatite again thank god, but i still think he's skinny!

I think he's fine. Remember he's 9 months so he's in that growing stage. Rocco was even a bit thinner at that age and I was worried until someone explained it like this: think of a 15 year old boy. Usually, if they are healthy and fit, they are going to look a bit skinny or lanky. But, they will fill out as they develop. I think your boy is perfect for 9 months.

Might want to be careful packing on pounds for a puppy. No rush to fatten them up. Skinny is better than heavy.

I think he looks great, no need to fatten him up, you want them to be nice and slim because it's easier on their joints.

The male GSD should be between 65-85 pounds so your male is fine, overtime he will gain a little more as he matures and fills out.

My Jake was as heavy as 103 (last summer) and is now maintaining a healthy weight just below 80 pounds (77-78 pounds) over last 2 months.

He is a lot healthier and has more energy and will live longer since he took off the extra pounds.

Before: At 103 Pounds

Now 77-78 pounds

At his present weight he is still a Big Dog as well as a Healthy Dog!
