Dead Mouse!

A few minutes after I came home I notice my dogs missing so I go to the bedroom to find him crunching on something (on my bed might I add... ew) only to find out it was a dead mouse (with blood everywhere)

How concerned should I be. my skin is crawling from how grossed out I am.. but he IS an animal. Should I be worried about him getting sick though? I feel like I need to rush him to the vet!

Anyone have any experience in this area?

I am no expert, but I think you should clean up the mess (of course) and then watch what your dog does. If there are no symptoms (vomiting, fatigue, other odd behaviors) then I would say all is fine. So, overall wait and watch, I am sure it was just a common mouse that caught your pups eye.

Thanks -Mouse

As long as you do not have any decon anywhere where the mouse might have eaten some, don't break a sweat. The only thing to watch for is tape worms.
Think about this, how many times do you see cats eating mice? Nothing happens to them...... except getting tape worms some times. I would catch my dogs eating mice the darn cat left laying around outside in the backyard. Ugh.
Watch for signs of tape worms, and then worm him. No biggie
