Pannus and CDRM
My 9 year old boy has today been diagnosed with suspected pannus (in one eye) and CDRM, the final blow to his life long chronic hip dysplasia. I'm gutted for him, but he's still happy and loves his walks. I hope he goes on a bit longer.
Here's his eye yesterday ( it was clear by the tone the vet saw him today)
Leyna was diagnosed with pannus about 7 months ago (we live at high altitude). She goes back to the doggy ophthalmologist next month. But she seems to be doing just fine - minus the fact that she hates getting eye drops everyday. She gets one drop of prednisone and one drop of tacrolimus (sp?) each day - which is down from when we first started.
