Vomiting, Diarrhea, Rubbing Face on Ground, Refusing Food

My year and a half old german shepherd mix has been vomiting, having diarrhea, and rubbing her face somewhat compulsively on the ground/couch since she woke up this morning. She has never turned down food before, but had no interest in eating her breakfast this morning. Her demeanor is a strange sort of mix between lethargic and restless.

She spent yesterday at the dog sitter's house (two golden retrievers live there) - she's been there several times before and never had any health-related issues afterwards.

Does anyone have any insights/similar experiences?

Thanks!

Jon

What you are describing makes me very nervous. I would get her to the vet...today.

I agree. Those are symptoms you need some answers on.

ER vet if there's nothing else available. This is likely an emergency. Always better to be safe than sorry. Don't wait!!!

maybe an allergic reaction to "something".

When my dogs who are hogs, don't eat , it's time for a vet visit.

I would also be going to the emergency vet.

My golden got stung by a bee and was rubbing all over the place. I seen it happen so I knew what it was. If I didn't see it happen I would have taken him to the vet.

Sounds like she has eaten something that has upset her tummy, smell around her nose & mouth where she's rubbing see if it smells like petrol or a chemical, get a face cloth & wash the area see if that helps... I'd just give her water today no food for 12-24hrs then something lite in the morning & see if everythig goes back to normal..
