Default Stairs

So my puppy is 3 months old and every time I take him out, he walks up a flight of stairs then down another. Then, when we come in, it's up and down again. My question is; is this potentially threatening to his hips? should I be carrying him until he's older?

I treat stairs just like any other exercise for puppies, I let them go at their own pace and don't force them. As long as they're not running up and down 100+ times a day I don't see a problem
