Default Questions about Pano

Almost sure DDog has Pano in both his front legs on which he is limping off and on. He is 4 months old. It doesn't seem to be affected much by free exercise like playing with a pup but more so by walking on pavement.
What is the best protocol in keeping this pup sane and not bored? Rest improves the condition for a bit.
Will take him to the vet soon, just in case.
Any tips appreciated.

This article may help you Leerburg | Panosteitis or PANO. DDog does seem young for pano. Since you have noticed he limps only when you are taking him for walks on pavement but is fine when playing, maybe he is tired or his paws are tender. Hope he feels better.

You made a thread like 3 weeks ago and I said he seems too young for pano. You also said you would take him to the vet like 3 weeks ago. Not sure if you're lazy or cheap but a vet with xrays are going to know if it's pano or not better than that anyone on here.

Of course your dog runs around and plays because excitement means the dog is running on adrenaline which means tolerance to pain. He could just as easily have torn his knee. Limping means the dog is hurting. At least get him some pain medication.

4mos seems very young for pano
and i thought pano was traveling, moves from one leg to the next, not two at once
a vet visit like, this week, would be in order
not sure where ddog came from but a front leg limp that young could easily be elbow dysplasia

our gsd got pano at about 7-8 months of age
nothing at 4 months

That is an unnecessary nasty comment and not helpful. To answer your question about your uncertainty: I am not lazy and not cheap. You do not even know me. FYI: I am in contact with my vet and he will see him next week for possible X rays.

I just had an additional question for the experienced people who take this seriously.
