Default Over bite

At 11 weeks DDog had a good scissor bite but now his new front teeth are coming in he has an over bite of about two millimeters. I know it can very well correct itself but is a bite affected by playing tug?

My dog had a pretty big overbite when she was younger. I didn't notice it until she was 2-3 months. By about 6 months everything was back to normal. I played tug with her but not sure if it had anything to do with it. Other people here have also said they have seen it catch up.
