Same issue here.

Cerenia. Works wonderfully. Ask your vet for some for long all day trips.

For short trips, don't feed him. I had to put Seger in the front seat. The motion in the back it so much for him.

Luckily, my breeder said any others that had motion sickness outgrew it.

sometimes it is a visual thing --- the dog that looks out the side window --

put him in a crate and have the crate either facing front or rear , but not the side

this worked for one dog I knew

I'm glad you posted this. I was just going to ask the same question. My 16 week old gets car sick every-time I put him in the car.

My breeder suggested covering the crate so he couldn't see out the windows. Like Carmen said, it's often a visual thing. Unfortunately, it didn't work. Putting him in the front, no eating before helped some. The Cerenia really helped him. however, you can only use it 2 days in a row so it's really only for long trips.

a vet friend recommended ginger capsuls 1/2 hour before we go, once the dog travels fine with that they seem to sleep and not be sick after that, it worked
