Sick Puppy!!!

So just got back from the vet after a long couple of days. My (as of today) 10 week old sable pup seemed to be suddenly not potty trained. He had to go out every 15-20 min last night and just last week he was beginning to nearly sleep through the night. Turns out he has an abnormally large number of crystals in his urine. I know that utis can be common among girls, but he is so young to have crystals already formed and in abundance, it's pretty mind blowing. The vet is checking with their prescription food company, for options for puppies... so I am just waiting by the phone. Has anyone ever had a puppy with this problem before? And more particularly has anyone ever had this problem with a male dog before?

What type of crystals? There are two types and they each mean something different.

And please do NOT give any of the prescription foods - they are NOT meant for growing puppies.

There was another thread a couple of days ago....so no you are not the only one and as I mentioned on the other thread I had a male puppy with two UTI's back to back. Second round of antibiotics got rid of it.
