hair loss

My GSD 3 months old male double coat is losing lot of hair. I groom him daily but still i find bunches of hair all over my house. Heard that puppies lose their birth it true??

And is it true that puppies go wild upon eating salt in food content. I feed him the sum food occasionally(containing salt) apart from his regular royal canin feed. I wonder if its bcos he is growing or active that he becomes hyperactive at times. He runs here there very fast all by himself and jumps. Is he playing or sum thing wrong??Does the salt content in food cause him any harm??

They do shed a lot when older with their adult coat, but I don't recall losing much hair as a pup, not sure. Your pups running about playing by himself is called the "zoomies" its normal behavior.
