Default 14 month old is not eating much????

I`m new here and new to the GSD family. He is a beautiful pup and we love him dearly. He has all but quit eating, I did take him off table scraps. As of now it is just dry food. I have tried several kinds, with no luck. I worm him monthly (today actually). I need help taking care of this active dog, he is very playful and is still running, jumping etc etc
Thank you

When they get hungry will eat. I would be concern if there was sign of health issues but if normal activity level is shown, wair and it will eat. My 12 month old had time when she stopped eatting or was slower to eat about month or so ago, we reduced amount of food, now she is back to eating like craizy and we had to go back to regular portions as she was showing hunger (crying before feeding time). try that approach and see.

I should mention he is limping. I did take him to vet and they seemed to think he was just sore in his shoulder, but that was a month ago. It did get better, but as i said, he is limping again. He is a very active dog that gets to run out in the country chasing deer, moths or anything he sees. But he does seem a little lethergic. Although he was just chasing a ball???

thank you for your reply

Honestly if he's still very active I'd just wait it out. Dogs can sometimes be finicky. One day eating like a hog the next don't touch a thing.
That's how halo (my gsd) is she has meal times
But I swear she gets an attitude about it
Sometimes she's interested other times she flips the dish upside down and goes to bed. She still active I don't worry about it until I notice a change in her personality.

14 mth old limping? is it rotating to different legs? how about Pano? maybe he's not eating because he hurts? How long has he been off his food? Is he underweight? Is the dewormer a heartworm pill?
