Dirty "bottom" (is it cause she is a white GSD?)

My white GSD is about 5 months now. Since we got her, it seems as though she gets "pee" on her fur in that area. Thought she would do better with age but it's worse. She always looks so "dirty" there. Never had a female dog before. Is this normal?? I constantly need to use a wet cloth to clean up her fur down there. It looks dirty and "sticky" on her fur. She was tested for a UTI before & was negative. Help please

you could keep that area shaved.

I have a similar issue with poo getting stuck down there. I asked my vet about it and she said I could use Dawn dishwashing liquid. I was surprised that I hadn't thought of that before. I'd clear it with your vet first just to make sure.

No, it cannot be normal. Urinary tract infections are more common in female dogs than in male dogs.

Not necessarily urinal, it could be kidney infection. Has your vet prescribed antibiotics? Maybe you should go back and ask for that?
Stop feeding her any kibble if you do, put her on raw beef mince with pumpkin, sea fish and chiken with rice. Grain in her meals can cause it.

My previous Shepherd was white and I don't recall ever having that problem with her.

I'd just buy baby wipes while figuring this out.

And if it IS medical I'd rule that out first. There are easy and reasonably priced tests to figure that out.

Certainly would help to trim the area with scissors, the shorter the fur the easier the cleanup, though I've never had to do it with my GSD's...

Does she seem to have trouble squatting to pee? I would be concerned that she's in discomfort.

the squatting issue is a good thought.
