Can dogs get snow blindness?

I took Ollie hiking the other day on a bluebird day. The sun was shining off the snow. I had on sunglasses and started to think with all the reflecting sunlight off the snow that I might get a tan (or sunburn). Then I started to wonder since it was going to be a few hour hike, if I should worry about Ollie's eye and snow blindness. Kind of silly maybe, but does anyone one know if dog's eye work the same way and I should invest in doggle for a long hike on a sunny day in the snow?
