Default GSD 4mo stomach problems and rash

My 4 month old GSD puppy has been having stomach problems ever since we got him. He was originally on Purina puppy food and we quickly moved him to Blue Buffalo Wilderness adult food chicken recipe. Our vet said there is no problem putting him on adult food since he is a large breed. He has been having a mix of solid and pudding diarrhea poops for a while and recently has gotten a rash around his private parts. Today the rash got really bad. Our vet has seen the rash and did not say anything about it. We are going to take him back to the vet Monday to see what exactly is wrong. We moved him to Blue Buffalo Puppy Food today to see if that would help with his poop problems. Any advise from long time GSD owners??

Blue Buffalo gives some dogs pudding butts. Has he been tested for worms and parasites? We had some trouble keeping Riley's poo firm. Adding probiotics to his food helped.

Try another food. I just switched my puppy off of blue because it gave him diarrhea.

He has been tested for worms and parasites twice and both tests came up negative. Any suggestions to what food is good for hardening stool? We will try the probiotics to see if that will help too.

You may want to avoid any chicken based food. Both of the previous foods had chicken. Keep going with grain free. The purina was like Doritos with chicken by products.

Whatever you switch to make it a gradual change.
