Default puppy warts....

Stella had these over a year ago. Now my son's 11 week old puppy has them. Can the puppy have gotten them from Stella? And can Stella get them from the puppy?
I thought that once a dog had them, they would not be able to get them again. And I didn't think they could transmit them such a long time after having them...

I doubt the puppy got them from Stella, if she had not had any in a while. But yes, they are very contagious.

So, having already had them doesn't make the dog immune?

I really don't want them again.....nasty looking things. Maybe I will get some immune booster for Stella, just in case. I am guessing she has already been exposed....

When Stella had them, my old boy never did catch them....
