Default Help - diarrhea

Hi everyone,

I thought I would ask this question to get some help with my GSD. Wehave had Luna for about 8 months and she has a very sensitive stomach. We have her on Instinct Limited Ingredient dog food. Last Sunday a neighbor brought over 6 hot wings and 4 pieces of pepperoni pizza. Luna got it from the counter and ate it all - bones and everything. Since then she has had severe diarrhea. She continues to play fine and has all of the energy a 10 month should have but the diarrhea is starting to worry me. I have been mixing her food with white rice for 3 days to see if it helps but so far it hasn't. How long should her tummy be upset for and is there anything that I can do to help? Thanks for any input - great site!!!

. If things do not improve, I would see a vet.

You can add a little canned pumpkin (pure pumpkin, not the pie mix) to her food.
There is also slippery elm that helps with loose poop, but I would get her checked by a vet before using it.
