My Baby is in Pain :'(

Hello guys,

I left my little boy in his kennel then ive heard him crying and whining very loudly, standing up on the separation. When i went to get him he seemed in too much pain when walking on his right foot then he threw up some white saliva when i took him out then again he started pouring saliva. I took him to the vet he gave him some injections just now. Shall i be worried or is it something that is going to go. :(

You were just at the Vet and he didn't tell you what was wrong?

He didnt explain anything to me he just gave him two injections and said come back tomorrow morning if he is still in pain.
He can't go down and his right foot hurts so i suspect something in his stomach :(

Sorry to hear your little guy is not feeling well.

You will want to find out from the vet what he/she believes is wrong. This will help you care and watch for your pup.

It could be that his foot is in pain, drool sometimes is a result of pain. Could be nothing to do with his tummy.

Do you think he got his foot stuck in the crate somehow?

What country are you in?

If your vet does not explain things to you, you need to ask questions! What injections was he given? If you don't know, call your vet's office and ask the name of the medications.

Thank you for your concern.

I have no idea ... the thing is there is a small wall for separation and he stays up on it all the time so maybe he hurt himself by trying to climb it. The other thing is he threw up white saliva and also he can t go "down" so he is trying to sleep while sitting.

I am actually in Morocco. I will go back to the vet and ask him. I will keep you all updated.

The bolded sounds like his leg or foot is in pain. Trying to sleep while sitting is not normal. Please tell the vet you are very concerned, perhaps the little guy needs an x-ray.

I suspected that you were not in the U.S. For some reason it seems common that vets in some other countries don't give pet owners any information. :( You might want to edit your profile to show your location as Morocco.

Remember that you are your puppy's best advocate, so if you go to the vet do not leave the office if you don't understand what is being done and why. What does he suspect might be the problem? What has he ruled out? What medications is he giving and why? What might be causing the white saliva? If he seems injured, what kind of injury might it be? Could he have injured his paw? These are the kinds of questions you can ask.

Hello guys ! first of all thank you for your support !

I went back to the vet he checked on him again and said that he has a big amount of gas and concerning his foot its nothing serious.
My dog is being super capricious as when i took him to the vet he was normal again. I am relieved for now I will wait and see. Thank you guys again and I will obviously keep you informed. Cheers.
