Eko has pyoderma on his tummy and I just gave him his first dose of cephalexin this evening about an hour ago. He was prescribed 1000mg every twelve hours. I made his food and he wouldn't even touch it. I put some hot dogs in there to try and entice him to eat but he ate maybe one or two pieces and thats it. He's been acting normal other than that, playing and walking around. He did take a comfortis pill yesterday morning, we were given a free dose after his vet visit on sunday, the vet thinks he has flea allergy dermatitis and his chewing is what allowed the pyoderma to set in. But other than being a little lethargic last night, he's been fine. Should I call the vet in the morning? Or am I worrying too much?

He keeps going into the kitchen to look at his food, and I keep asking him if he wants to eat and he seems interested but when I go in there with him he just stares at it. Now he is looking at me on the couch and then in the kitchen.

He is 91lbs, I made sure that's what she said and I asked again at the pharmacy because that seems high to me too. It does say on the side effects that stomach upset can happen. So now I'm wondering if I should give it to him right before I feed him so he at least has food in his belly?

For a 91lb dog that seems fine.
ANY antibiotic can cause GI upset. Zeke can't have cephalexin, it makes him vomit. However it's a good general antibiotic, and one we most commonly prescribe. Your vet should of told you that it should always be given with food. If given on an empty stomach it can definitely cause upset, and that may be why he's not eating. When he's due for his next dose, give it with food. Something really yummy if need be - broiled chicken breast or hamburger, warmed up canned food, bread, etc... If he's still not wanting to eat, or starts vomiting, call your vet. They may want to try a different antibiotic.

Superficial skin infections should be treated topically not with harmful antibiotics and not at the same time as HW meds especially a day apart....no wonder he feels sick.
Fleas attack the the back at the base of the tail. Treat belly with Vetericyn. This will also help the yeast issue that is probably the actual problem - pits and groin area's...

He did eat after a little while, he really seemed to want to eat so I offered him a piece of kibble from his bowl and he ate the rest of his food after that. He seemed tired so I let him into his crate to rest. I had to go to work tonight so my boyfriend is keeping an eye on him and so far no vomiting. I will give it to him with his breakfast in the morning and hopefully that will keep him from having an upset tummy. It says on the bottle it can be taken with or without food but I suppose I should have asked. Live and learn
Other than the not eating and the tiredness he seems to be fine, still walking around and chewing on a toy in his crate when I left. I will still keep an eye on him over the next couple of days, he's had a lot of medicine recently, he got all his vaccines, a heartworm pill, comfortis pill for fleas, medicated ear cleaner and his antibiotic and this has been the only side effect I've seen other than being a bit lethargic last night after the comfortis pill. I do have another question, he is due for a bath soon, is there a medicated shampoo I should use to help with his pyoderma?

Oh and gatorbytes he does have some scabbing and hair loss at the base of his tail on his back that's why the vet thought flea allergies. I did read there are topical treatments for it but the vet was saying it is a pretty bad infection it is all over his tummy and a bit on his arms, I don't see his tummy much and his hair covered a lot of it so I didn't realize anything was wrong til it was bad. I have learned from this and I am checking him all over from nose to tail every day now I want to catch all problems early from now on.
