Default Bald Spot under eye

I just noticed this morning that underneath Remy's left eye, there is a small bald patch, but her right eye seems fine. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it something I need to be concerned about/watch for growth/take her in to the vet?

Appreciate any advice!!

you can kind of see it in the above picture. I tried to get as decent pictures as I could, but they sure are a squirmy breed!

Could be a scrape, or could be mange.

This might be a dumb question- but I also just switched her food from Purina One Healthy Puppy Chow to Nutro lamb and rice puppy- is this even a good brand to have her on? And could that be a cause of this?

Is she itching the area, pawing or rubbing?

I have not seen her doing that. She is acting pretty normal.

Keep an eye on it for a week or so. If it doesn't go away or progresses I would have a skin scrape done for demodex (a non contagious form or mange). Bald spots under the eye are notoriously demodex.

Thank you! So if it turns out to be demodex, how hard is it to be rid of?
