Sore on upper lip

My dog Cooper has a sore on his upper lip. My fiancé and I noticed it a few days ago but it didn't seem very big but I looked tonight and it has increased in size dramatically. I'm not sure what to do, is this an emergency concern that I should take him to an emergency vet or just make an apoitment with my vet

What the heck is this thing on his chin?

You can treat it with Vetericyn or chlorhexidine.

What about a pimple-like mass inside lower lip? What could that be?

That could be canine herpes virus.
