Default Seizure?

Our friends have a 13 month old gsd and last night they heard a bang and when they went to check on her she was squatting like she was peeing but her back was bent at a weird angle and her limbs were rigid. They got her out of her kennel and she flailed around on the ground..limbs still rigid...flopping back and forth..they went in to get the keys to the truck to take her to the animal hospital and when they came back out she was standing there like nothing ever happened...but she had the "what just happened?" Look on her face. One of her eyes seemed bloodshot and a little lazy, but a few minutes later she was fine.

She drank some water, ate some food and had a bowel movement about 10 minutes later and she seemed normal the rest of the night and today.

The vet at the animal hospital can't find anything wrong with her and can't really give them an answer. Does it sound like a seizure or something else?

Sounds like epileptic seizure. Our beagle use to have them. Hers weren't very frequent and we didn't need to medicate, but some dogs may require it for quality of life.

sounds like a seizure to me. may not have another or they may become frequent enough to require treatment.
