Default we need immediate help!

Dear Friends,
we need immediate help!
Let me explain:
We have a white AKC German shepherd, Micky.
She got pregnant with our boy (Rocky), also a white AKC German Shepherd. She will be 4 years old this coming August.
We had planned to let her have babies, one time only. We built a nice dog house for this event.
Well, it looks like we let her too long together with Rocky, she got pregnant and had her first litter this past Sunday, Feb. 9th 2013.
Everything went well - she had 6 pretty little babies on Sunday morning. But later on Sunday, she had two more, like the other six, very healthy.
On Monday morning, we counted 9 babies, she must have had one more over night. Monday evening, she had again one more babiy, all 10 babies healthy.
Now, here is the problem: Tuesday morning, we discovered one more baby, dead with a bad smell. We buried it and worried about her health. After all, this dead baby came some 52 hours later than the first six.
No - it's not finish, she just had another dead baby about one hour ago, Tuesday evening - some 60 hours after her first litter.

Now - we are worry about her health. Is this a normal matter. Could she have some more in her belly. Should we give her antibiotics (amoxillin).
Please let us know, we are a bit upset and don't know what to do. We live way out in the country, some 50 miles away from a vet. Besides that, it is already evening, hard to find some help out there.

Thank you very much for your help - lilly-dianne.

The babies are dying and rotting inside of her. She needs to see a vet NOW.

What would antibiotics do? Other than pump her full of drugs which she will then pass to the pups through her milk, you should have sought vet attention a lot sooner than this, call the nearest one to you and get her in ASAP like now would be good.

Definitely call an animal hospital to let them know you are on your way and get her to the vet immediately.

Her pups should probably see a vet too. Hope everything works out!

Yes, the bad smell is bad. You need to get her to the vet to ensure they are all out of there, and they may need to save your bitch. If your bitch gets sick, the pups that are healthy may die. Ok, they are likely to die. Do not try to just give her antibiotics.

Let us know what the vet said. And how they are managing this. I would bring the pups in a laundry basket or crate, but I probably would not put them down. They need to stay warm so it is best to bring two cars, so someone can take them home and get them under the heat lamp if necessary. They have to stay warm, and they need to eat every two hours or so. A vet's office is not the best place for them.

The bitch needs to get an x-ray, and possibly a shot of oxytocin -- the vet will know what is best to get her cleaned out. They will have to do something that is safe for the babies, but it might be necessary for you to tube feed. Ask the vet to show you how, and to provide the necessaries. Buy some puppy milk replacer -- cows milk is not good for puppies. Tube feeding is scary, but easier and quicker than trying to use a bottle. Let's hope it is not necessary.

Default thank you...

Dear Friends,
thank you very much for your fast reply.
Please let me explain:
Micky is very healthy, eats like a little pig and drinks, running around, comes in our house for a short time, goes back to her babies - acting totally normal.
All her ten babies have a big fat belly, looking very healthy, growing.
She had her after birth, everything looks normal, except the last two dead babies.
She has no fever, no pain, just a happy mother.
I would have taken her to the vet in a minute if she would had any problems.
I am just upset about the two dead ones. And - I am not totally sure that she had them today. Please don't get mad, I cleaned her house very carefully and did not see any dead babies, then again - I don't know.
Let me see how she does tonight.
I am not totally new to babies, after all - we had Sheeps, goats, pigs, rottweilers, kittens - god knows...

Selzer, is the bad smell infection? Can that infection be passed through to the babies via nursing?
