Default Swelling after Frontline PLUS?

Hi all

Has anyone had any issues with swellings after using frontline plus?
I put a vial on both dogs last night and this morning I noticed a lump on mojo's back on the side of her withers just behind where the stuff was applied.
There's no redness or any other irritation just a lump under the skin.

So now I'm worried it may be another tumour
I didn't notice it before and she had a bath and blow dry on Thursday so I'm sure I would have noticed it then, I always feel them for any irregularities while grooming or petting.
If it hasn't changed by tomorrow i'll be taking her to the vet but I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience?

Cheers

my guess is that it is unrelated to the frontline. the lump could have been forming before the frontline, but was undetectable. have you used this product before ?

Default Swelling after Frontline PLUS?

I think you're right but thought I'd ask.

I have used frontline before but I don't use it regularly every month / that stuff is so darn toxic.

you are right, it is toxic, but the alternatives such as fleas and tick bites seem to be a worse trade off.

Doubt it's the Frontline. Frontline (if I'm remembering correctly) doesn't absorb.. stays above skin, unlike Advantage, Revolution etc, which does absorb in to the bloodstream

Dogs can have a reaction to Frontline. If you do a google search, you will find many posts about dogs developing lumps after application.

So, I would evaluate how large the lump is. How many. Does it go away with benadryl (an anti histamine will help allergic reaction). and I would call your vet tomorrow morning to verify and discuss.

Great relief, took her to the Vet, she thinks its a injection site reaction from the surgery she had a couple of weeks ago.
The vets wants to see her again in a couple of weeks just to double check

Oh my goodness the girl just can't catch a break My 9 month old will always get super sleepy for couple of hours after using Frontline. Although before she wouldn't only with this new package I just opened happened twice already, maybe they changed the formula?... I really hope the lump magically disappears and she feels great again...
