after our incident the other night with the e.r vet I have noticed a discharge that has been coming from his penis. At first it was a green like snot color( sorry for the detail), yesterday it was whitish and now it is a bloody color. and the top of his outer penis skin is red too. I have wiped it with clean baby wipes but I cant get him to stop licking the area. We have an appointment with our vet tomorrow and we brought them a urine sample today. His urine is a normal color and there is no odor that is abnormal. Has anyones dog had issue like this before? is there something I can do to make him stop licking himself? it seems to make whatever is going on down there worse.

My GSD had a greenish discharge coming from his penis when I first got him. I took him to the vet for his first visit and the vet said its common just to wash with soap and warm water a few times a day. I did this for a few days and it cleared up. No more discharge. Good luck hope this helps.
