Default Kopper under the knife. . .

Kopper is at Texas A&M getting neutered and a laparoscopic gastropexy. My poor baby. It's quiet here with just me and Rocky. . . . .

Kopper's behavior in the waiting room was *awesome* though! Lots of people and different animals, definitely bigger and busier than any vet waiting room we'd ever been in, and he stayed calm and focused. The one time he seemed to start getting distracted, I took him through some simple commands and tricks to re-focus his mind, and a couple of different people said, "What a smart dog!" I was proud of my baby.

Felt bad about leaving him.

Aha, a familiar friend.

Good to see you post.

My best to you Kopper and Rocky.

When can he come home?

Hi Jack's Dad! He's coming home Friday. I'm hoping maybe he'll calm down after being neutered, but not counting on it.

Yep. Don't count on him being more mellow.

How are you doing?

Doing well, thanks. Working a lot but happy. Joined a martial arts class for my own fitness and sanity, so that's been fun. Haha no I'm not counting on him being mellow. Just wishful thinking.

Emoore I neutered Rocket almost two months ago and it sucked leaving him there!! Rocket was 17 months and even though its only been a couple, I haven't noticed much change. (not that he really needed much).

Best wishes to both Kopper and you.

Kopper is home. He's woozy and uncoordinated and hating his head cone, but he's home safe. Now the fun really begins. . . trying to keep him calm and quiet for the next 7-10 days.
