He does have a lot of the symptoms, he had a UTI last time he was checked as well. Would that be considered a secondary infection due to his overgrowth of bad bacteria? And, if so and he has another sort of infection will getting the bateria back in balance take care of any secondary infections?
Also, what probiotics and how much do you use? And how much fish oil and coconut oil? |

I talked to the nurse I know and she is going to make me a batch of colloidal silver this week. Until then what can I do to ease his feet? He is constantly licking them and Im afraid he is going to make them worse.

give him some benedryl 1mg per one pound of dogs weight. Also you could give esterC. It is a natural antihistamine and adds acid to the bladder so the bacteria in the bladder can't live. I've taken C when I had a UTI and it cleared it right up within hours. Start at 500mg of C and over a couple days, double the dose(split it between am and pm) Then you could go up to 2000mg, but 1000 daily is probably enough. Because you don't want to overload everything at once, I'd start with these two things and some plain yogurt with active cultures. Then next week begin the oils. I give 1000mg of fish oil and a couple tablespoons of coconut(raw virgin unrefined) every couple days. Or I'll give sardines every few days instead of the fish oil. Meijer has Brunswick brand(Canada) and one can is a good portion for an adult dog, just top it on the meal.
