Stark seems to have done something to his paw, he wont stop licking it. I noticed last night he was licking it a little bit (his right front paw). He let me look at it, its red between the pads, but I cant see anything else. As the night progressed he started limpimg a little. And, today he is pretty noticeably limping. He still tries to play and run around but he is definitely more mellow today than usual. He has yet to cry or groan or anything when he licks it. And today he wont let me get a good look at it. It does look more red and its quite more red between his last two pads than any other spot. Is there anything I can put on it to help it heal? And, at what point would you say he needs to be seen by a vet?
Thanks so much! |

Oh dear. It could be many things, even standing on a small bit of glass.
I would suggest taking him to the vet if it is looking worse. Sometimes warm salty water can help draw things out. Maybe give that a go. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |
