Default Belching??

Bear recently started belching more and I was wondering if this was any indication that he would be suseptible to bloat?

I have monitored his eating and drinking habits and he is not one to inhale his food. He doesn't drink too fast or too much and will almost always leave a few kibbles in his bowl.

Does anyone elese's dog belch a lot? Should I be concerned?

Milla belches after she eats anything out of the ordinary, and sometimes even if it is ordinary. I chalk it up to her being a belcher.

My vet said there can be a correlation between food sensitivities and belching, Milla is allergic to beef but I have taken her off all beef and beef products and she still belches, with out any of her other symptoms. Maybe someone else has a different take on this but I think she's just a belcher.

My dog belches right after every meal and we haven't had any issues thus far. Suki is not a fast eater per say, but she does not always chew properly. I think that because she swallows a lot of her kibble whole she is also gulping a little air as well.

To keep her from doing this, sometimes we put her meals in a treat dispensing ball and it slows her down and forces her to chew smaller amounts of kibble.

Berlin recently started belching. First time was after eating a chewy beef ligament. Now i've noticed he does sometimes after eating. He doesnt scarf up his food or anything...so maybe some dogs are just natural born belchers. LOL. Berlin seems to be taking after Bear. Before this, i had NEVER heard of a dog belching, ever. Didn't even know it was possible!

Hahaha, they must be secret brothers! If I ever drive back to Chicago with Bear we'll have to get the two if them together!

My 9.5 yr old newfie cross belches. Never had any tummy problems with him. And i believe I have heard Stella too. Of course being a female, she doesn't belch...she burps

Tessa is quite the little belcher, however she seems to be able to hold it until she's face to face with one of us...
