Anyone have or known a dog with this issue?
Our 1.5yr old dog just got diagnosed with anal fissure/fistula, something like that, can't remember the exact name right now, but am wondering if anyone has heard about it or has had a dog with it, would be great to hear from someone who has/had a dog with it. From what Ive read its more prevalent in shepherds than other breeds, and is an autoimmune disease. Can't seem to find much on life expectancy, or really much else than listed above other and the various forms of treatment and those are from 2003, which is pretty outdated. Thanks for any input.
