My dog has a growth

My male I noticed has a spot on his tummy and he is growing a lump. I have a good vet but, I switched vets lately and I am going to take him in next week. But what could it be?

It could be anything. Is it a growth on the skin? Or a lump under the skin? Is it fast growing? Is it a hernia? The only way to tell is have a vet look at it. anything we say is just a guess.

He is not the kind of dog that likes belly rubs but, it is a lump. As soon as I get to talk to hubby today I will call the vet and get him in this week. I have to go to work soon but should have more (day time) toward the end of the week to go to the vets.
