Compounding pharmacy
I just got an email from Dr's Foster & Smith saying they are no longer compounding meds. I have to find out where to get Cyclosporine 1% Eye Drops for Apache without getting beat over the head for it. The specialist charges double what I was paying from them.
If anyone has any "TRUSTED" sites please let me know. Thanks. |
have you checked with your pharmacy ? check into generics.

Road Runner Pharmacy is where I have gotten Kya's specialty meds in the past. We use them at the clinic as well.
RoadRunner Pharmacy | Arizona, Phoenix, Veterinary, Compounding |
I know of one in Yakima, WA - they would be happy to do it and mail you.
It is not expensive at all, no moreso than any other like Walmart and such. I was surprised by how cheap the meds (methocarbamol) were considering it seemed a specialty. Let me know if you're interested. |
I called walmart & cvs both said no. I am suprised at cvs because they compound Kiya's potassium bromide. I called my vets office and they said they compound there, I found that odd. I didn't ask for a price but since my vet is good to me I don't think she'd beat me over the head. Years ago the eye specialist charged me $75 I got the same size from drs foster & smith for $25.
