i was looking at lexie in the light and noticed that she is starting to gray under her mouth, should i be concerned. i dont remember any of my dogs graying at 18 months. we do have hard well water, would this cause it? I did meet both lexie's sire and dam, neither one was gray and they were a couple of years old.

JR came to live with me when he was 5 years old and he was extremely gray ... I had two of his offspring who were littermates and both started to get gray while they were very young.
