Molly is only 17 weeks old and her nose is turning pink. Anyone know why? Also, as shown on the pic she is producing stringy eye gunk for the last month or so. She does play outside in the cold weather often.

Does she drink or eat out of a plastic bowl?
If so switch to stainless steel (except outside). Oh, and read about this - http://vetmedicine.about.com/od/dise.../snow_nose.htm |

Some dogs get a pinkish nose during the winter; I'm not sure why, but it happens.
As for the eye gunk, it may just be dirt or dust getting into her eyes and she is producing tears and mucus to flush out the debris. Just wipe it off when you see it, and take her to the vet if it looks yellow or green. |

I've also heard of dogs getting something like vitiligo where the pigment fades in certain areas. I think it's REALLY rare though, so my guess would be one of the other suggestions
