So Sam has had some bumps on his ear that are causing him pain.
I thought Oh deer, they are ticks!! So I took a matchstick and placed it on him (well, what I thought to be the scoundrel), he is black so my site of color is off. It wasn't a tick. They are scabs roughly the size of the font on my computer. So O...like that big. Some smaller. There is seven in all. So..I took some Alcohol on a Q-tip swab and washed it up a bit, and under the scabs there are these bumps..that are white and seem like zits, but you can't push any puss out and it's painful to touch. Threw him in the bash washed him down and gave the ol' look over and they are no where else, and only on the one ear. I have an appointment set for Friday. Hoping it's not Cancer or anything! I will try and get a photo uploaded as soon I can get myself bathed...

Hmmm, interesting.
My first guess was insect bites. You said they appear to be painful to the touch...do they itch him as well? I'm glad you have a vet appointment already scheduled. Hopefully others can give more insight. Please update your thread after seeing your vet. Poor boy

As one of the worst doctors I've ever met said to me after looking at my neck, "Huh." I hope you have a good vet visit and an easy issue!

Its hard to say from the picture but it does look similar to what my girl had. It turned out to be a cyst. She only had one in her ear. It did scab over several times but is now gone.

They look like small sebaceous cysts. My dogs have them on their ears too.
