It is cancer in the tissue not the bone. It could not be removed. Last night during her nightly massage I found two more lumps on her chest under her leg- I am guessing there are lymph nodes there. She started the panting stage this morning.

I am beginning to wonder what we are doing wrong. While Sage died of complications of DM in 2007, India died a few weeks later of hemangiosarcoma. Asia went down last October to osteosarcoma (though she had "beaten" cancer three times before). Beast went to that aggressive leukemia in February and now this! Why all the cancer?!

We have well water with a treatment system that we only use to wash clothes and for baths. We cook with and drink bottled water (dogs too). We do not use chemical cleaners (I use mostly baking soda, vinegar, etc). I grow a lot of our veggies and otherwise get organic from our local CSA. We are vegetarians but feed our dogs meat that is supposed to be antibiotic certified organic etc in addition to what we thought was a human grade kibble. I make our own cheese and yogurt for goodness sake! We eat almost no processed food (I bake their treats), avoid colorings... I feed probiotics, vitamins and supplements to dogs and humans alike. I exercise them all daily.... Do I just live in some sort of chemical/nuclear triangle of cancer death?! What more can I do? I feel like we need to sell the house and move!

Her pain increases. We have increased the pain meds to no avail. She is clinging to me even more than usual. Tomorrow at 11:30 we say goodbye
