looks like I'll be at the vet a little sooner than expected...after rinsing the dogs off after a play session this morning, I discovered that Kaiser has almost completely torn off the toenail from the quick on one of his toes. Poor boy didn't act like it phased him until I tried to inspect the nail...and even then he just jerked a little. I wrapped it up and I'm waiting for the vet to open so I can see if I can get him in today.

Be sure to describe what the vomit? regurg? sounds and looks like like AnubisStar mentioned.

Vomit = horkahorkahorkahorkahorkasplat
Regurg = splat

Good luck at the vet!

ALSO - yes, we do want links and reference materials always and it is always good to ask for that information when someone says something. It might not matter so much when asking should I play tug (though there are always good bits of information out there, some even science based) but we cannot rely on someone else reading information and interpreting it for us.

HAHAHA I kid you not, tonight at work I was walking one of our inpatients, but I stopped to talk to the Dr for a second. So the dog is standing by my side, and I'm talking to the doctor, and all of a sudden I just hear this huge SPLAT, and I look down and I'm just covered from the knees down. Looked back up at the doctor and said "SO our little buddy just regurged.... all over me...". Dog didn't even flinch or give any warning. THAT is regurgitation
