Vomitting?

Hi,
My girl Suzie was a rescue at 7 months she is still a poor eater though, she has gained some weight and filled out a bit but she has started to vomit every few days mostly its a yellow bile type and odd times she does bring up some food, She has gone about 5 days between this mornings vomit of bile and the last one which was food.

We are feeding her Bakers complete and she will be 1 year old on the 12 December I am thinking it may be the food being too rich for her, I could really do with some advice please.

Many thanks, Wayne.

Many dogs will vomit bile when they have an empty stomach. Best bet is to give very small amounts of food from time to time to prevent this, like give some right before you go to bed and immediately after getting up in the morning.

A good idea is also to keep biscuits handy to give them something to eat before they get nauseated and vomit. Or as Elaine said, feed just after getting up in the AM and last thing before bed.

i am sure you will get answers from people that know more than i do, but if it was the food, i would think this would happen more frequently. i

I don't know if this is related to the Bakers or not but I had my puppy on it at the start and he had a few instances of vomiting up bile and soft to runny poo aswell, I changed to Select Gold Sensitive from Maxi Zoo and haven't had an issue since!
