Sick Puppy :(

He is 10 days shy of 5 months old. He is normally full of energy and running around the house like crazy. My wife said when she got home she took him outside like normal, he came inside and gulped down a full dish of water (normal for him) and started running around in circles until he threw up all over. She then noticed a small amount of throw up inside of his kennel. He has refused to eat all night and hasn't really drank a lot of water since either. He has not been very active or energetic and when I took him out when I got home, he had a very small soft stool and then a river of "dirty" liquid. He also has a very dry nose. We are taking him to the vet ASAP (11.5 hours until they open) but just curious if anyone has any ideas or suggestions?

He normally gets 4 cups of NutraMax Large Puppy Breed and all the water he can drink. He has had 1 cup today since he hasn't ate anything else. Please help if you have any ideas or experience with similar situations in GSDs.

Sounds like parvo. Get him to the vet at once.
e-vet if necessary.

I don't know what it is, but I agree with msvette. I wouldn't want to wait around on this. It could be serious. Is there an E-Vet you can take him to?

I forgot to mention he's up to date on all of his shots, 4x 7-1, Rabies, and we also had him MicroChipped.

I apologize, the parvo is in the 7-1.. the 2x was the "Kennel Cough" that my wife was worried about.

There's not and we wish there was.. does anyone have any ideas of how to sustain him and keep him comfortable for the duration until the vet opens in the morning?

He does need to be seen ASAP by a vet; also he needs rehydrated. Put an electrolyte solution in his water dish (you can use Pedialyte) this will replace what he lost. Keep us posted

I sent instructions for home made pedialyte.
Hopefully that'll help.
A dog can still become ill w/parvo (or another illness) even if vaccinated, it just usually means it won't be as severe of a case.
You can't be too careful once they are showing symptoms like this.

Is this a typo? You have had 4 rounds of a 7in1 vaccine shot? How many rabies? Your pup isn't 5months quite yet...Kennel cough 2x? why?
