I had Bear on this food... All my comments and questions are in Blue for easy answering.

And he chomped his way through three bags of it, 60 kilos. Then over two weeks went right off it and slowed down, then flatly refused to eat it. He loved the dog food my Lab was eating to the point of trying steal it right from the bag.

Bear is getting a warty rash on his chest legs and feet to include his elbows, and it is itchy. He is doing a lot more scratching and chewing on the rash. He did not have it on the Ultra food. Wheat allergy? That seems to be the principle difference between the two foods.

Allergy symptoms are similar regardless of what the allergen is, except pollen related may cause the eyes to be goopy. If you think he is allergic to something, you could put him on an L.I.D. food or you could have testing done.
