Default Tumor On Eye? Fell Off?

So, my friend has this dog (He's like 9 I believe? Mixed breed dog) who had a tumor under his eyelid. Yesterday he got into a fight with another one of her dogs and the tumor "fell" from under the eyelid, over top of his eyeball. She tells me today that it is GONE. Um...Has anyone ever heard of this??

Here are some pictures:

Yesterday:

Today:

Same dog, same eye. Ideas? Any cause for concern?

They've got an appointment with the vet later today but I've never heard of something like this. o.o

Wow, it looks as though the tumor was displaced during the fight and in the second picture the eye looks to be clear. Hope that the vet finds everything ok.

I would be concerned. I would take him to the vet even though he looks fine.

She actually just got back. They said he's fine, it could grow back but it hasn't spread to the rest of his face, his vision is fine, the actual eye is fine, ect. So I'm happy for her, I know this dog means so much to her and she's worried about losing him. I was up until 2am trying to calm her down when it happened.

I've just never heard of/seen something like this though! Crazy stuff.

So the tumor just disappeared? Wow, sounds like a miracle.

It was probably torn off.

No no no. The picture where you see it is AFTER the fight. It was originally under his eyelid and it dropped down over his eye when they got into it. She woke up this morning and it was gone. Unless he maybe scratched it off or something during the night??
