hock edema after FHO

Hey folks
my 1 1/2 y/o G shep just had an FHO after a failed THR (it was in for 8 months then his body rejected)- he has some edema around the hock of his leg- surgery was 3 days ago-
anyone have this problem?
ideas?
thoughts?
we have a call into Dr- its late Sun

Probably swelling from non use. Once he starts using leg more the swelling will go down
