Default Dr. Foster and Smith website

Does anyone use and trust Dr. Foster and Smith website? Their heartworm medicine is almost half the price what my vet charges.

I believe they also have a guarantee for the HW meds purchased from them, used year round, if the dog were to become HW+. I would double check that.

There is an organization that certifies online veterinary pharmacies.

Whole Dog Journal recommended that you look for a VIPPS pharmacy: Find a Vet-VIPPS online pharmacy - National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) from Big Dogs, Big Heartworm: Cost of Treatment, Cost of Prevention

I have been using Drs Foster & Smith for a very long time. They are a compounding pharmacy and I get Apache's eye drops for panus from them.

Reputable company been in business long time
Would take their prices to the vet though and see if they will match them.
As is, you need a prescription.

I'm so glad this is a good site. I will have them call my vet for the prescription to get the heartworm medicine. Thanks everyone.

I think the makers of Heartguard are the ones with the guarantee. If the dog is tested once a year and on medication year round and the dog gets heartworm, this company will cover the medical expenses associated with the heartworm.
