How many times has he had diarrhea?

Is it all poop, is there any blood?

Any vomiting?

Is he drinking?

Would he take food if you offered it (little piece of something bland)?

Is he active?

Does he have a temperature?

When you answer these questions, call the vet and report them all to them and see what they say.

Canned pumpkin, the one that is pure pumpkin with no spices in it. It will help for both diarhea and constipation. Mix it in with his food if he will not eat it by itself, maybe a tablespoon full with each meal. Hope that your boy gets to feeling better. Make sure that he is drinking plenty of water also you don't want him to dehydrate. If he is still having the runs tomorrow you may want to contact a vet or take him in. Good luck.

You also may want to run to a petsmart or pet supply store and pick up some Pet Pectillin. This will provide relief for diarrhea. My vet approves of this for minor bouts of diarrhea.

Agree with others tho, if the runny stools continue much longer or get worse it's best to go to the vet.

Feed him boiled chicken and rice for his meals until he has firm stools again. Then, gradually mix in some of his regular food with each meal until you are feeding him all dog food again. This always works when my dog gets the runs.

I found that rice and pumpkin work very well together for a couple days.
